Can you believe we’re almost done with September? Time always flies at breakneck speed the closer we get to December. Between preparations for Fashion Week, office events, and internal meetings, Griss and I are just about hanging onto our sanity by a thread. But we’ll make it, of course! There’s almost no problem that coffee and a fresh coat of makeup cannot fix at Fashionese Daily
For all the headdesking that came in tandem with September, this month has flown especially quickly for me because it has been good for me in terms of style after having been lovingly clothed by (X) S. M. L. Every Today’s Outfit I posted for all this month prominently featured a key piece by (X) S. M. L, and I had a blast getting the pictures taken for them. As you can see from my “greatest hits” compilation below, it’s pretty clear how you can easily dress their items up or down, depending on your needs. I wore key items to fashion shows, concerts, meetings, and just to cool off when it got a little too warm. Even my Instagram account has been peppered with proof of their malleability.
The variation in looks is a testament to (X) S. M. L’s strength in crafting dresses and separates that are perfect for urban living, so of course I had to conclude September with (what else?) something from (X) S. M. L. Then despite the searing sun and heat, I stuck it out and wore this gold colorblock knit cardigan. It’s another great example of a separate that can dress an outfit up or down: if worn with a knee-length fit and flare dress (like I did yesterday), it takes the outfit from a classic and curated look to something a little more casual. But in today’s case, the cardigan added a bright, elegant touch to an otherwise somber and fuss-free all-black outfit.
Don’t you just love items that serve multiple purposes?
Also, don’t forget that the end of September also marks the end of #MadeInIndonesiaMonth. You still have until September 30 to win vouchers from (X) S. M. L worth Rp. 2,000,000! That’s good for a lot knit cardigans, tent dresses, and accessories. So many of you have already submitted your fab locally designed and made looks, so thanks! Keep sending in more to increase your chances at winning. Read our article on it for contest details. Good luck!
